BAVARD
A CONCEPT STORE IN WIESBADEN GERMANY

On the charming streets of Wiesbaden, Germany, there’s an exciting new opening that’s catching the attention of locals and visitors alike: Bavard, a unique concept store that offers a wealth of experiences and a carefully curated selection of products. But Bavard is more than just a name – it’s an expression of the owner’s character and vision.

THE

BRIEF

The name „Bavard“ comes from the French and means something like „chatterer“ or „friendly neighbor“. It is a term that attracts attention and evokes the image of a communicative and lively person. This is exactly what is reflected in the character of the owner, who is passionate and enthusiastic behind the idea of the Bavard Concept store.

Our task was to make the meaning behind the name and the idea of the store concept visible.

Our Idea

Our design concept revolves around the idea of communication, which we visualize through the use of chat bubbles. Inspired by the chats in iMessage, they serve as a design bracket and reflect the character of talking. Present throughout the store, the chat bubbles create a unique atmosphere that invites the exchange of ideas and shared discovery. They remind visitors of the importance of being open and listening to each other. Our carefully selected product selection of fashion, art and design helps ensure that every item at Bavard tells a story.
