Chai OF is part of the nationwide celebrations for the commemorative year „1,700 Years of Jewish Life in Germany“ and serves as a homage to the rich Jewish history and culture that has shaped Offenbach.
The cultural festival celebrates Offenbach as a city where different cultures walk hand in hand. Chai OF aims to be more than just a city festival – it aims to be a movement that promotes tolerance, unity, and a pure passion for culture and Jewish history. With performances, music, and artistic displays, visitors are invited on a journey through Offenbach’s Jewish past and present.
As the creative partner of the City of Offenbach, we develop and bring this unique event to life.
„Chai“ the Hebrew word for „life“ is one of the most recognizable Jewish symbols. We took inspiration from this word to create a vibrant visual identity for the lively cultural festival, where tradition and modernity blend in a burst of impressions and creativity. The bold color palette, typography, and distinctive logo reflect the energy, diversity, and significance of Chai OF. Accompanying communication materials such as posters, banners, flyers, program booklets, social media assets, and an online platform have been created to promote the festival in the city and beyond.
Our online platform invites visitors on an interactive journey. With a digital city map in hand, users can discover hidden gems and delve into fascinating biographies through texts, photos, and audio recordings from Offenbach’s Jewish history and present-day Jewish life in the city. The city map can serve as a guide for a walk through Offenbach, allowing visitors to explore the Jewish sites firsthand and experience the city’s rich heritage.“
